Connecting to the Network

If you are a land developer or a potential major end use customer and you wish to find information regarding the availability of reticulated gas in the vicinity of your development, the first point of contact is ATCO Gas Australia.

If you are a small gas user (residential or commercial) and wish to arrange a gas connection to your premises you should contact a gas retailer.

Having gained preliminary information from ATCO Gas Australia if you wish to pursue the provision of reticulated gas to your development, it will be necessary to contact a gas retailer in your supply area to negotiate a gas supply contract.

Your gas retailer of choice should contact ATCO Gas Australia to obtain a quotation for the necessary gas connection infrastructure. When your gas retailer has received the infrastructure quotation from ATCO Gas Australia they will be able to complete the commercial arrangements with you.

For details on how to connect to the reticulated gas network, a copy of the Connection Process Handbook is available to download.
